WORK IN PROGRESS – Using a flex sensor with Arduino and Unity to bring finger interactions into the virtual environment. Goal is to create a VR experience where the VR user or those within the physical space can bend the sensor to interact with objects in the virtual environment or the VR user directly.

Great work! Could you please share with me how you did that rotation using the flex sensor? It looks really smooth. I’m making a project for my college about data/mocap gloves and I’m trying to build one with flex sensors and a MPU using Arduino/Unity.
I already got some codes and an example for the MPU (even though it still needs some adjustments haha), but i don’t know how to use the values from the flex sensor to bend the fingers :/
Hey Jhon!! Did you solve how to use the values of the flex sensors?
Could you please share the code to send the values of the sensors to unity?
I don’t have my original code since my laptop was stolen, but this is the site where I learned how to do this: https://sites.google.com/site/ardunitydoc/
As John said that is very smooth bending. I too am stumped on how to get the fingers to bend together. I can get the flex sensor data into unity finally. I just cant seem to figure out how to make each section bend with the next. Any help would me most appreciated thanks
